The generic nature of the material system is the starting point for the Technical Studies thesis on construction assemblages for the component and deployability in site. The site location informs the material selection and construction techniques, although, the ecoMachine’s adaptability to a give set of environmental conditions would lend the material system to adopt other material and construction procedures as the site conditions changes. For this project, the Essex estuary is chosen as site: the ecoMachine performs its environmental enhancing role and deployed according to the site specificity. The material system is deviced as generic as possible to allow for its deployability elsewhere.
